MAD ABOUT SOERGEL ORCHARDS

Picking Pumpkins in Pittsburgh

Happy November! Autumn is in full swing and I am already salivating for Thanksgiving.  I have been traveling back and forth from NYC to PA to visit family and audition/take certain jobs!  It has been an exciting whirlwind, and offered me awesome opportunities to shoot with great photographers all over.  For these Fall looks, I decided a pumpkin patch was a must!  Soergel Orchards in PA is the perfect backdrop for any seasonal theme.

For my first look, I scoured Marshall's for this orange velvet crushed sweater!  It is the most comfortable and cozy sweater that gives you the best pop of color around your face.  I love wearing warm colors during the seasons to liven them up even on the darkest of days.  I paired the sweater with a plum purple suede Old Navy skirt.  I love how the buttons are placed and the skirt is not too tight or too short.  The price is wonderful as well!  Purchase the skirt below:

I finished the outfit with these perfect Jessica Simpson maroon velvet ankle boots!  I love the outfit all together because it screams cozy Fall and amidst the pumpkin patch really captured the essence of the season.  I picked the perfect little pumpkin to decorate and place outside of my home to welcome my guests!  Thank you Soeregel Orchards Xo

For my second look, I incorporated another Marshall's find by picking this black knit long bell-sleeved sweater.  It is so fuzzy yet so stylish!  The brown suede skirt is from American Eagle and the gorgeous suede thigh high black boots are from Forever 21.  This whole outfit is very well priced and are easy pieces to find with a little hunting!  Both Boots Below:

This adorable leather purse that says APPLES on it and colored black and cherry red is a vintage find from when I studied abroad in London!  I spotted it collecting dust in my closet and thought, "how perfect would that purse be in my Fall shoot?!"  I live for bringing back old goodies from the past and creating a new feel for them in the present. :)

This Fiddler/Newsboy hat is from Versona, and when I first saw it in the store I was wary about it, however, I am so glad I purchased it (for only $14!) because it is now my favorite hat!  I have been getting so many compliments on how fun and different it is.  If anyone knows me, they know I believe I was born in the wrong time period.  Anything that takes me back in time makes me smile!  Similar hats below:

Last but not least, this burgundy felt hat has been a Fall/Winter staple for a few years now, because it is so warm and fashionable.  I originally purchased it from Nordstrom, and have some links to a few options to shop below:

I hope you enjoyed the looks from this shoot, and the photography is my favorite part of the entire post because I worked with my favorite photographer who happens to be from my hometown!  Karlie Rae Photography is everything and more from blogger shoots to weddings, she is the master of natural light.  I will recommend her till my last breath!  If you are in PA, she is your #1 gal, and she will be in NYC a lot too. :)

I discovered a new favorite cosmetic line!  It is Drew Barrymore's new line partnered with Walmart  called Flower Beauty.  They just featured me on their Instagram which was very cool!  The color lip in my photos is Soft Berry, and can be purchased below:

Hope you have a fantastic week, and look out for my next collaboration with Best of Everything , my favorite jewelry store in Florida, who have an online store as well!  To be continued, stay tuned! :)  Stay warm!  It is finally sweater weather. Xo A
