ICONIC NYC BUILDINGS

NYC is known as the Concrete Jungle for good reason!  It is home to the most beautiful and iconic buildings both up and down town.  One of my favorites is the Flatiron Building because it sits on a busy and historical corner crossing in Manhattan.  The building is distinct due to its triangular shape and windows.  Designed by Chicago architect, Daniel Burnham in 1902, the Flatiron building has been known ever since its creation as the most dramatic and eye catching building for photography and tourists.

So when I thought about my first NYC shoot, I decided to begin my Manhattan blog journey to be both historical and iconic.  I chose the canary yellow New York & Company summer dress to reflect the taxis and black and yellow that is NYC streets.  The black leather jacket signifies how you have to have tough skin and your wits about you living and surviving in this whirlwind of a city!

I am so excited to share more outfits, iconic and secret corners and buildings of the best city in the world, Manhattan! Stay tuned for more NYC summer shoots where I'll tell you all about the best Local finds & eats.  All my love, A XO
