My Favorite Dress for the Holiday!

Meet Me on the High Line

I am so excited & honored to have partnered up with Talbots!  They reached out to me via my Instagram, Mad.About.Manhattan, and said they would love to collaborate & send a look from their Holiday Line.  I received this gorgeous velvet green cocktail dress with black ribbon strips finished with perfect bows. I love this A-Line shape amazing for all sizes, and very flattering.  I think this is THE Holiday dress for the season, and can be worn all throughout winter.  Pair it with a furry black jacket like I did from Dress Barn or a white stole faux fur.  A camel wool jacket from Old Navy would do the dress justice as well!

I finished off the look with classic nude pumps and bouncy curly hair to give that Holiday party vibe.  The High Line was the best place to shoot this look from Talbots because it is iconic New York and has a gorgeous city backdrop.  This dress can be rocked at your work Holiday party, Christmas Eve Dinner, or just a Formal occasion in the winter!  I am wearing a size 2 Petite and love the way it hits right below the knee.  It runs true to size and is extremely comfortable.  It does not hug too tight and the straps should hit your shoulders perfectly.
