MAD ABOUT CHRISTMAS!

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a very happy and warm Holiday surrounded with people you love most. XO I was so excited to spend it with my family and favorite people in PA. I enjoyed the chaos that is preparing for Christmas and the both anxious and eager shopping trips back and forth to the mall. My mom and I literally shopped till we dropped and had to revive ourselves with Chick Fil A before I drove us home so that I would have energy, haha. Yes, we are a tad bit dramatic.

Instead of buying my mom a gift, I am very artsy crafty by nature and decided to create a heartfelt warm gift that she could keep a lifetime. I spent countless hours meticulously cutting, pasting, searching, creating and sticking together the perfect scrapbook of our family's eventful past year. Needless to say after all those hours of possibly getting carpel tunnel syndrome and my kitty Maisy giving me side eye about lack of sleep, my mom adored her present specially crafted for her. That by far is my most favorite gift and memory of this season! I always give myself extra points of victory when she tears up with emotion, hehe.

Santa was very good to me this year, and I received a new Delsey Châtelet travel suitcase roller of my dreams! They also reposted my Instagram picture of it, which always makes me smile. I am a sucker for camel leather and cream, and this piece of art luggage matched exactly that!

I sought out my favorite PA Photographer, Karlie Rae Photography, (her i nstagram here) to do a much needed Holiday/PA shoot! We decided Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA had some beautiful backdrops.

PS. be sure to check out my NYE Dress shoot on the Smithfield Bridge, it was the perfect location to shoot a sparkly outfit with gorgeous Pittsburgh behind it!

This dress makes me feel like a Holiday Princess! Pair it with faux white fur hand muffer and mini dress cape and it's a showstopper. Fun fact, I got this hand muffer when I was teeny tiny, probably around age 5 and have loved it and cherished it ever since. I've linked some similar ones for cheap below! The cape as well. I have many look a likes of this red dress because it is out of stock, and there are other alternatives below also.

I found this gigantic Christmas tree outside of The Grand Concourse, and thought what better backdrop for a Holiday shoot?! Karlie and I then ventured into the Grand Concourse, the perfect date spot for dinner or family brunch, and were delighted we could take photos on their infamous grand staircase. The lighting was warm and moody, I love how the photos came out!

NOW... THE SHOES!

I was so excited when TRAFFIC shoes contacted me for a collaboration! They sent me these fun heels with suede baubles. I already received so many compliments on how different they are.
They really compliment the feet and any outfit, dressy or casual. Snag these gorgeous heels here! I thought these heels really finished off my Holiday look with a gold bang.
